Banana Bread
Have some bananas on the verge of being over ripe? Turn them into some delicious banana bread with this simple and delicious recipe.
Ingredients:
Bread-
2 Cups Flour
2 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Salt
1/2 cup cold putter chopped into pieces
1 cup mashed bananas (approx 3 bananas)
1 cup nuts (optional)
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp ground ginger
Crunch Topping-
1/2 cup flour
1/4 tsp sugar
1/4 cup melted butter
3/4 tsp cinnamon
Mix well and crumble on top of bread before baking
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Combine Flour, sugar, baking powder and salt
Cut in butter until crumbly
Stir in remaining ingredients (except for topping)
Pour into a greased 9X5X3 pan
Top with crunch topping
Bake for 70 min. at 350
Once finished flip out of pan immediately and cool on wire rack
